When you order our flyers in the shiny variety you will receive offset print on 100lb coated book with an aqueous coating. The 100lb coated book is a high white clay coat sheet. The aqueous coating is a varnish that leaves that high gloss look, but with a little less of the wet look of a standard UV. These flyers are ideal for photo quality images and have excellent durability. However, they will not take ballpoint pen very well so if you need to write on them it is recommended that you use a permanent marker instead. Or alternatively opt for not shiny. Unlike with out business cards and postcards that all use the same base stock regardless of finish, we use a different stock for our raw flyers. We use our choice of a 24lb bond or a 70lb text sheet depending on several factors regarding the art you provide us. You can still expect a high quality sheet as with all of our products, but you should be aware that due to the open grain nature of these sheets that the sharpness of full color images is often effected.
